of the Sacred Heart College Kensington

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College Kensington is an systemic Catholic school for girls from Year 7 through to Year 12. As an educational community, we foster a culture of learning where students develop confident, creative and thinking skills in order to be caring, responsible members of the global society.

At Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College Kensington, we are proud to build on our hundred and three year heritage. Our founder, Fr Jules Chevalier, formed the the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart was formed in Issoudun, France in 1874.  We believe it is our privilege to continue the work of founder Fr Jules Chevalier, who believed that education of girls was the means to convey the message of Jesus’ love to young people and inspire them to make a significant contribution to society.



Applications for entry to all years of schooling must be made on the school’s official Application Form.



The College has a commitment to flexible organisation structures and the appropriate use of new technologies ensures that individualised programmes meet each student’s particular needs.

Upcoming Events

  • Monday, 21st August Year 9 Excursion

    Year 9 Geography students will be visiting the Observatory Hill Education Centre.

  • Monday, 21st August Book Week Activities – Monday

    Principals Reading Prizes for each Year group will be announced and the Winning Book Display Announcement.



  • Tuesday, 22nd August Book Week Activities – Tuesday

    Year 7 students will listen to author with Sarah Ayoub.  Book Character Parade will be held in Hartzer.
