CGSSSA Athletics

On Friday 15th August, 33 OLSH girls travelled to Homebush Athletic Centre to compete in the CGSSSA Athletics carnival. There were some tremendous individual and team results on the day. Special mention to Taliah Lummow (Year 7) and Audrey Kyriacou (Year 12)) who both qualified for the 100m invitational race. This is the top 10 fastest sprinters of  the day!

Congratulations to the following girls who will represent OLSH in the CGSSSA team and compete at the NSWCCC Athletics Carnival on Friday September 12th 2014.

Audrey Kyriacou: 17 years 100m, 200m and long jump
Zoe Devlin: 16 years 100m and 200m
Alexandra Grujoski: 15 – 19 years 1500m walk
Malanata Kilisimasi: 14 years shot put
Seneti Kilismasi: 13 years shot put and discus
Taliah Lummow: 13 years 100m, 200m and 400m
Jasmine Fletcher: 12-14 years 1500m walk
Angelica Gatis: 12 years javelin

Overall, OLSH competed in division 1 and finished 5th. We also finished 5th overall to Loreto, Monte, Marist Sisters Woolwich and Santa Sabina. Congratulations on another successful CGSSSA Athletics carnival OLSH!
